Do your children ever have questions you don't know how to answer? Children, are you ever too nervous to ask your parents certain questions? These kinds of conversations shouldn't be taboo. In fact, they should happen often! The number one form of child abuse prevention is starting a dialogue, so we want to equip families with the tools to speak up and speak out! Parents + Children: Talking to Your Child About Body Safety Dates: April 30 at 11:30a, May 2 at 5p, May 14 at 11a This informational zoom session will empower children with the knowledge that gives them the right to make decisions over their bodies, and caregivers with the knowledge to support them. Our 45-minute presentation will cover the importance of open communication, development of body safety rules, establishing safety networks in a child’s life. Parents + Teens: Social Media + Internet Safety Date: May 12 at 7:30p Access to technology has substantially increased the risk to children to be exposed to harm through online grooming that could lead to sexual abuse or child sex trafficking. Join us to learn more about sexual abuse, sex trafficking, grooming, online grooming, and online safety tips.
