Multidisciplinary Team

Child abuse is a community issue that cannot be dealt with by just one agency alone. Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) allows all community partners working on a case to make decisions based on combined information, provide status updates, and pool resources to better ensure a child is being served to the best of our abilities and that no child falls through the cracks.

Weekly MDT meetings also serve as an educational/training resource by allowing seasoned professionals to teach and share with professionals new to the field which thus, results in more timely, comprehensive outcomes for the child affected by abuse.
